Well, despite early morning showers 24 players hit the field for some intense action.

1st game; Green took up positions and prepared to defend against Tan team's eminent attack. Tan team was tasked with clearing and placing a green ammo box within each of the 3 buildings. Through persistance and sheer attrition Tan was able to complete the objective with and hour and a half.

2nd game; Tan team was to start out of Ft Hilander, while Green's base was the Comm station. A 55gallon drum was placed on the Dam road equal distance between the two teams. Each team was allowed 2 medics and tasked with getting the 55gal drum inside the opposing team's base.
At game on Tan, sending a small team of runners forward, took pocession of the barrel first, they attempted to move it to a more defensible position while the rest of their team rallied to provide support. Unfortunately for Tan, Green team kept their team together to maximize their firepower. This strategy proved even more effective due to he fact that Tan had sent a team, accompanied by a medic, around the west side of the pond in an attempt to flank green. Green team used speed and aggresion to wrench the drum away from Tan and quickly made their way to Ft Highlander where they placed the drum for the win.

3rd game; After lunch a game of "Trench Warfare" was played where the teams took up position each side of the ravine area at G8. Each team's object was to overrun and take controll of the other's base.
Again, Green played more aggresively and took a lot of ground really quickly. Tan dug in and with overlaping fields of fire wiped out the oncoming Green.
Green respawn en mass, this time taking a little more time, deliberatley moving forward and encircling Tan's base. Tan eluded certain defeat as time ran out.

All in all, it was pretty good day. We got a bit of a break from the heat, it was warm, but not brutally hot as it has been.
Good job everyone.

Those who have pictures, please post them.

First of all, I would like to thank the guys from down there for the warm welcome for my boys - Porter and Bug - and myself.
We had a great time. Met some new people and put some faces with some names. Enjoyed the scenarios for the games. It was good with the number of players that came out.
It was a fun day to say the least. We will definately be back for more.
I would suggest going down for a skirmish when you can. It is a great group of guys and the field is really nice.

Good job guys. Despite all the hang ups we had the morning just trying to get there, your professionalism and organization netted you some more fans and possibly more players for the future. I actually can't get my friend to shut up about how good the day went. :|

Props to Sabot for running such a fine day and everyone who participated and helped make it the high quality game that it was.

Sabot pretty much covered the game play already. Weather..... hot, hot and did I mention hot?

I want to thank our guests who traveled to play with us and our new guests for their first time out with us for coming. We also had some old friends manage to find their way back to the airsoft field, it was nice to get to see you guys again. I also want to thank Fade and Sprocket for doing such an awesome job at leading the teams. Sabot had some entertaining scenarios for us to play and did his best to keep us on track and on time.

I had an incredible day of airsoft. I fell out before the last game, but the games I participated in were intense and entertaining. We had 24 to start and 4 more were ready to play by the second game. Once again, we had a new level of honor displayed by both teams with no issues to my knowledge of any kind. Thank you guys and girls for setting the standard for what we all want our airsoft experiences to be. You make me proud to be a part of this sport.

Two-fiddy had a camera there. I can't remember who had the other one, I want to say it was the girl with Hellboy?

I will hit up Two-fiddy to post or give up the pics so I can post them.
