What is Airsoft?
Airsoft is an honor-based military simulation game. Players use true to scale replicas of real firearms to engage in typically squad-level interactions. Various scenarios , meant to simulate real world situations, can be played. Airsoft is not a glorification of war or violence but rather an exercise in teamwork and cooperation.
The replicas, called Airsoft guns, come in a variety of styles. Airsoft guns fire 6mm or 8mm diameter plastic BB's, of varying weights depending on the player's preference. While technically airsoft guns are toys they should not be treated as such. The OKCAG encourages that airsoft guns be treated with the same care and respect as you would with an actual firearm.
Safety and honorable play are of utmost importance in Airsoft, along with an eye at keeping the mil-sim aspect of the game.
