How bout, for a smaller game, we could play a game of kinda dynamic command posts. The field would consist of the green and tan start points, and then three CP's between them, spread out evenly. The first CP up for scoring would be the middle one. As players fought over control of it, and some where shot out, they would just go back to the first CP in the direction of thier base for a respawn point, and then spawned in waves every say 10 minutes.
Rules for capturing CP's would be that a team would have to be occupying the building, bunker whatever, for either a set period of time, or at a certain time (say 30 min to assault a CP before moving on to the next one. Who ever won control of that CP would be given 50 points. However, to make it more interesting, say Green is about to take control of the CP right before scoring, and in a last ditch effort to keep them from getting the points Tan could bring an explosive from their base, and blow up the CP for only 1/3 of the total points (about 18).
Now that the scoring for that CP is over, it would be time to move on to the next one. This would be determined essentially by, the team that had control of that CP would advance to the next CP towards their enemy's base, and the enemy would have to retreat (even if the enemy blew up the CP, they still have to retreat). And the respawn points would just move up to the Base and CP on either side of the CP they were contesting for. At the end of say a 2 hour period, you would count up the teams points, team with the most points wins.
Hope that makes sense :S You could also add in extra objectives like intel caches and other props to capture for points or something, if you had a larger group.
