Rules for Oklahoma City Airsoft Group (OKCAG) games

Game cost is $10 per player, unless noted otherwise for special events.

Liability Release Waiver
All players and observers must have a signed waiver before being allowed outside the staging area. PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you one directly.

Age
Minimum age 16. All players are required to have a signed waiver. Players 16 to 17 may play provided they have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Players under 16 speak with an Admin, no less than 3 days before gameday, on eligibility to play.

Safety Equipment
All players must wear full sealing ANSI Z87.1 rated goggles, or paintball mask. Eye protection must be worn at all times while outside the staging area. Safety glasses, shooting glasses, mesh goggles are not allowed.

All players must have a red "Dead Rag" minimum 50 square inches of material. If you don't have one, please ask. One will be provided for you.

All weapons must be submitted for inspection to the safety officer who will observe the player chrono test all weapons the player wishes to use. Each player will be asked to fire a minimum of 3 rounds across the chrono.
Note that players may be asked to chrono at any time during the day.
Players will be allowed to use only airsoft specific guns.
No "BB Guns" or BB guns converted to use airsoft BBs will be allowed. NO METAL BBs.

While in the staging area pistols must be holstered. All other weapons must have the magazine removed and the chamber cleared. Eye protection may only be removed after all players have gone mags out and chamber cleared and game control has given the ok to remove goggles.

Edit 11-20-06 While in the staging/parking lot area you may dry fire your weapon to ensure it is working properly. There is to be no live fire anywhere within the staging area other than at the chrono station.

FPS limits - All guns will chrono using .20g BBs uno. Hopup to be turned off. On request .20G BBs can be supplied, for chrono purposes. Players may use any weight BBs during the game.

1. Weapons capable of full auto fire
A. 400 FPS max for 6mm weapons
B. 310 FPS max for 8mm weapons measured with .34 gram BBs
C. Weapons using an external gas source must have a locked regulator to prevent field adjustment.

Note the following weapons classes are specialty weapons, and as such are bound by a slightly more defined set of rules.

2. Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) to be Semi-Auto only, and incapable of firing in full auto.
A Designated Marksman Rifle is a special purpose weapon, it is a standard Infantry rifle equiped with optics that has been enhanced for longer range and accuracy.
Some examples of a DMR are - M16, SR-25, PSG-1, M14/M21, G36, AUG, G3-SG3, Dragunov (SVD) etc...
Bolt action rifles may also function as a DMR as long as they adhere to the following Max FPS.
A. 450 fps max @ 6mm x .20g, 345 fps max @ 8mm x .34g.
B. Operators of a DMR must be approved by the OKCAG prior to using on the field. 3 Game rule.
C. Weapons using an external gas source must have a locked regulator to prevent field adjustment.
D. Operators of a DMR are required to carry either a standard AEG or sidearm to engage targets within the minimum engagement distances.

3. Bolt/Single Action Rifles
A. 550 fps max @ 6mm x .20g, 420 fps max @ 8mm x .34g.
B. Operators must be approved by the OKCAG prior to using a BAR on the field. 3 Game rule.
C. Weapons using an external gas source must have a locked regulator to prevent field adjustment.
D. Operators of a BAR are required to carry either a standard AEG or sidearm to engage targets within the minimum engagement distances.

4. Squad Support Weapons (SSW)
A squad support weapon is classified as an M249, M60, MG36, RPK, PKM, MG42 or any "Squad Automatic Weapon" either currently or formerly adopted as a military weapon.
A. 450 fps max @ 6mm x .20g.
B. Operators of a support weapon must be approved by the OKCAG prior to using weapon on the field. 3 game rule.
C. Weapons using an external gas source must have a locked regulator to prevent field adjustment.
D. Operators of a SSW are required to carry either a standard AEG or sidearm to engage targets within the minimum engagement distances.

5. Engagement distances
A. For all weapons capable of automatic fire 20 feet is considered minimum engagement range. Unless noted otherwise below.
B. 400-450 fps minimum engagement range 40 feet.
C. 450-500 fps minimum engagement 60 feet.
D. 500-550 fps minimum engagement 100 feet.
E. Note that in CQB environments engagement distances will be shorter than in typical field combat.

Be considerate of other players, aim low and for covered body parts and use of semi-auto is recommended. 350 fps and below is encouraged for AEGs.

6. Magazines
A. High capacity magazines, AKA Clockwork Magazines, players may carry a maximum of 2 Hi-cap magazines. Note that box/drum/C-Mags are only allowed to be used with support weapons as defined above.
Players may carry 1 Hi-cap magazine, plus any number of additional magazines of the standard or midcap design.
B. Players carrying Mid Cap, Low Cap and Standard magazines are allowed to carry unlimited number of magazines.
C. Support weapon gunners will be allowed a maximum of 2 magazines.

7. Clothing
Our focus is "Mil-Sim" (Military Simulation) In the absence of orders to the contrary, players are welcome to wear any matching color of legitimate military uniform, foreign or U.S.
Unless called for by the game scenario, civilian clothing such as shorts, blue jeans, T-shirts and tennis shoes are not permitted to be worn while playing.
Exception being an adequately done PMC (Private Military Contractor) load out, which makes allowances for blue jeans and T-Shirts in military colors.
No hunting camo such as real tree and mossy oak etc. Paintball clothing is not allowed unless it is of a military style camo. Uniforms shall include military or hiking style boots. Gloves and hat are suggested.

Legitimate LE/Military rank, unit, branch, badges/pins are not to be worn/displayed unless the wearer has earned them.
Exception : Uniforms/Gear that are manufactured with such patches and would be difficult or cause damage to remove.

Fixed bladed weapons, Knives, Machetes, Daggers, Bayonets, etc. either real or fake are not allowed. Pocket knives and utility tools are acceptable.
Smoke, Flash bangs or any "Pyro" devices are to be used only if authorized by OKAG/Field administration.

Sportsmanship is expected! Please call YOUR OWN hits!
DO NOT BOTHER TO CALL ANOTHER PLAYER – MIND YOUR OWN HITS!
Not calling you hits is cheating, and will not be tolerated.
If you suspect a player is not calling their hits. Do not take matters into your own hands. Please bring this to the attention of the OKCAG/Field staff.

Dead players do not talk. Not even to say "I am Dead". Dead players may only talk quietly to other dead players. Dead players do not shoot their guns, doing so immediately makes you a live target. Dead players do not improve their position, or indicate other players position while dead.

Electronic warfare, jamming or listening in the opositions radio frequency it stricly prohibited. On rare occations a scenario will allow for eaves dropping, but only when directed to by Admin.

Blind fire : Shooting around corners and not being able to see where your BBs are going is not allowed.

Airsoft is about HONOR, failure to play in an honorable manner and you will be asked to leave. No refunds.
