We started the game one hour later to allow the weather to warm and sure enough it was 50 degrees at game time. First scenario had tan starting from the ridgeline and attempting to push up through tanglewood to take the rock crossing. Green spread out along the tree line and went towards the pond to stop tan and then push them back to the ridgeline, and hopefully back across the creek. This scenario worked exactly as planned with lots of action in the tanglewood wilderness. Tan was near extinction when we were informed by radio that more players had arrived. We called the game with no decision, and returned to the staging area to reload, and redefine the teams.

Second scenario had a revamped tan seven strong against eight green. This scenario was designed as a two part game, with the first part a battle over club med, and the second part having the victor attack the losers base. The rules were not clear and the scenario took a few twists and turns as green first occupied club med but were quickly evicted by tan. Tan then smelling blood carried the fight towards the Rebel base (green's base), and getting caught up in a battle in the open field. Tan took several hits, and retreated to club med. With intel that green was pushing on the com (tan's base), several tan went to take charge of the base. Green then took club med and forced tan into a retreat. There was some fighting in the wooded area of the Rubicon north, and then green assaulted the com. Here ensued a classic event. One of green's team (to remain annonymous for his dignity) made a heroic assault on the com building, yelled "frag" and threw a magazine through the window, taking a hit in the process. After some consultation, it was explained that a "frag" in our airsoft games is a grenade that has BBs in it that explode out, not a magazine. Everyone was ok with this, and tan was in awe that the guy made such a gutsy move. This was second only to the guy in last years invasion that ran smack into the wall of the com building and almost knocked himself unconscious. We called the game at this point finding that many operators were out of ammunition.

We were going to try yet another scenario, but the cool wind began to blow, and the Super Bowl was just around the corner. Many thanks to the OKCAG guys who made the trek to Kashistan, and to the group of CQB guys that found our game when they found their facility closed. Hopefully we can have another excellent turnout in two weeks.
