Getting Hit and Being a Good Dead Guy

Postby SABOT on Sat Nov 08, 2008 6:53 pm

There is always an uncertain response to being shot during a game or skirmish so here are a few things to remember about hits and what to do after gettin hit.

Hits
If a BB grazes your hat, bootlace, hair etc... it is a hit.
Any hits to a player's gear, uniform or body count as a hit.
When you get hit, yell HIT! LOUDLY! Throw your hand up or put your gun above your head, then put your deadrag on your head.
A hit does not have to be "felt" to count, if you see it hit you, if you hear it hit you, it counts.
Gun hits and ricochets do not count.

Playing dead
The dead don't talk, the dead don't use radios, not even to say "I'm Dead".
The dead don't use hand signals.
The dead are not to be used as cover, shields or screens.
The dead do not shoot thier guns or gather any intel or improve thier position.
While dead, the dead are allowed to drink water, smoke a cigarette, eat, load thier magazines, change batteries etc...
Note that if you do smoke while in the field it would be best if you carry your butts off the field, or field strip them at the very least.

If a dead person finds himself in the middle of the firefight he is to move out of the line of fire. If moving is not an option the player should lay flat on the ground.

Hit issues
We will not have hit calling issues here.
If you feel that someone is not calling their hits.

DO NOT KEEP SHOOTING!
DO NOT SHOOT THEM IN THE FACE!
DO NOT SWEAR ABOUT IT!
FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM!

If the problem persists, bring it to Me (SABOT), Kraut or your team leader. Be prepared to specifically ID the person in question.

CALL YOUR HITS and be a good dead guy and we won't have a problem.
